Mount Kilimanjaro is a hiker?s haven. The mountain itself is the whole landmark. Its peak (Uhuru) is at 19,340 feet and thousands of climber?s hikes up every year. The foot at the mountain is surrounded by a place called, Savanna, wherein the animals are allowed to live in freedom. There are local hotels that you can stay in before you start climbing. Depending on your health and experience, there are a lot of different trails going to the peak of the mountain. The longer you hike, the lower the oxygen level. The Masai Mara grassland in Kenya is a place where you are one with nature. You are put up in a tent or camp site and you are good to go. There are lodges as well that you can opt for instead. It is a place where in seeing animals near you is a normal thing. There is a hot balloon in which you can take to see a different and yet equally spectacular view of the whole grassland area. See the cheetahs and lions from an aerial view and take wonderful pictures. The main highlight however, is catching the breath taking view of a Masai Mara sunset. It is like dripping molten gold. The reserve is a beautiful chance to experience nature at its best and as well as encounters with the handsome creatures that live there.

Marrakech is a place where everything is in contrast. A lot of ancient landmarks and mosques can be found here. One of the beautiful mosques has to be the Koutoubia Mosque. It is such a beautiful sight at night when it is all lit up. During the day, walk around its outstanding gardens, it is so well taken care of that the gardens are just perfect. Run your hands along the walls of the Bahia Palace which is intricately done from ceiling to floor. You can see every detail that was put into the palace features making it one of the most beautifully done palaces you will ever see. Another palace, the El Badi Palace, is also open for touring. What was once adorned with exquisite gold and ivory are now just ruins but still enough to make you see what it once was; a majestic sight. Take time in venturing the city and you will all the beauty that it possesses.

This bohemian street has enough personality to make you feel as though you went down the right street. Visit the Tuynhuys to see where the end of the apartheid was announced and get a feel of that joyous moment.

The land of sand, Cairo is a place to behold. Not only does it make you feel like an explorer going through ruins but it also is exquisitely beautiful. You can have dinner while cruising down the River Nile. If you want some serious history, a visit to see the Pyramids and the Sphinx will be well worth your time. Take a trip to the Alabaster Mosque and see firsthand the beautiful architecture that it has. There are a lot of museums as well. Experience the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities where the treasures of King Tutankhamen lay. You can also find the temple of Queen Hatshepsut there. Roam around the shops at the Khan el-Khalili Bazaar, an absolute must to visit.
