Philippines celebrates many local holidays aside from the national ones. The local holidays in this country depend on the demographics of the population.

Certain events such as the day of founding, birth, or death of rulers also determine some local holidays in Philippines. In some regions of Philippines, religious festivals of the major religion are also considered as local holidays.
